Great Gift

Got this to gift to my niece for her bday. She loved it and her mom said it's a great book of all the foods we have grown up with. Glad to share it with our next generation to start learning about. Wish I had it growing up too!

Cute but incomplete

We hoped to have more recipes as it was bought for our mixed culture children but it only had 2. Delivery was quick and product was in perfect condition.

I felt so seen

There was really special about turning page after page and recognizing each dish brought such comfort to my heart. And that these Filipino foods were being celebrated instead of made to feel so foreign. I am so happy that this book exists.

Fabulous book

For a half-Filipina who did not grow up fully immersed in Filipino culture, this book is such a wonderful and informative pleasure. It's as educational for me as it will be for my little boy. I particularly love how the illustrations feature such a diversity of people. For instance, one page features a person with a hearing aid. This is a wonderful tool to start introducing kids to the wide array of peoples and cuisines the world has to offer.
