The Very Asian Guide Expands with Two New Books!

This fall, Gloo Books is releasing the next two additions in their Very Asian Guide Series: A Very Asian Guide to Malaysian and Singaporean Food and A Very Asian Guide to Japanese Food. Off the heels of three new books released last April, the series now features six books.

Written by renowned Japanese home-cooking expert Naoko Takei Moore, owner and founder of TOIRO and author of Donabe, A Very Asian Guide to Japanese Food takes a look at the origins of the beloved curry rice and how slurping ramen is encouraged. A Very Asian Guide to Malaysian and Singaporean Food is written by educator and children’s literature book influencer Shuli de la Fuente-Lau, and explores the prized bold fruit durian and the many variations of the rich noodle soup, laksa

“We are incredibly excited to once again expand the Very Asian Guide Series, especially with these two cuisines that many readers have asked for!” says Gloo’s founder and CEO Karen Chan. “We know readers of all ages will fall in love with these books just as they have with the rest of the series, and we can’t wait for more little ones to discover the power of food.”

A Very Asian Guide to Malaysian and Singaporean Food and Japanese Food release this November. Both are available directly through GlooBooks.com.
