Join us at Black Cat Fables for a special story time with author Pedro Iniguez! Pedro will read from his debut children's book about Pepe's wild imagination and the importance of truth-telling in The Fib. Pedro will be available after story time for any questions and to sign copies to take home!

Liwanag Lit Fest, Long Beach
Long Beach Public Library is excited to welcome our community to the third biennial Liwanag Literary Festival, celebrating Filipino American stories and literature.

The word Liwanag translates to “Light” in Tagalog and this is what the festival aims to do—shine a light on the rich stories and culture of Filipino Americans especially during Filipino American History Month. The day will be filled with author discussion panels, storytime, vendors, and more! This festival is created in collaboration with the esteemed Filipina owned bookstore Bel Canto Books.
