Kids Are Loving The Fib — And We're So Grateful

We have to be honest with you: we started Gloo Books because we believed stories could change a child's world. But there is no better feeling than when kids actually confirm that for you.

The Fib Written by Pedro Iniguez and illustrated by Nathan Kwan, has just been named a 2026 CBC Kids Favorite by the Children's Book Council! And what makes this one particularly noteworthy is that the winners weren't chosen by a panel or a committee. Thousands of real K-2 students, across classrooms and libraries in 36 states, read the books and voted.
